Forecasters say the storms will bring lighting and strong winds, as well as heavy rains and even some hail.

The latest Marquette Law School Poll says most people in Wisconsin support school choice, but more people support their local public school. The poll, which was released last week, shows 54-percent of people statewide support school vouchers. But the poll also shows that 71-percent of people support sending more money to their local public school. Poll director Charles Franklin says that's likely because people support their local schools. Milwaukee, which has the largest school voucher program, has the highest support for school choice at about 63-percent. Madison has the lowest support for school choice at just 36-percent in favor.

Stevens Point Republican State Senator Patrick Testin says he's happy with the proposed state budget that was sent to Governor Tony Evers last week after it passed the Senate and the Assembly. Testin says there are plenty of good things for both sides of the aisle including the shared revenue agreement.  While Democrats were part of the agreement on shared revenue, no Democrats voted in favor of the budget on either side of the Legislature. Governor Evers is expected to make many changes using the line-item veto.

A former Wausau area financial advisor is going to federal prison for swindling millions from his clients.  Anthony Liddle ran Prosper Wealth Management in Wausau for several years, but investigators discovered that instead of taking his client's money and making low-risk investments, he was pocketing it for himself- taking nearly 2 million dollars for his personal expenses including trips. Liddle had presented himself as a family man who cared about helping others, but instead Judge James Peterson noted that he ended up stealing from people that he knew very well. The 41-year-old told investigators the money was a personal loan, even faking loan documents. His sentence includes eight years in a federal prison.
